these might be good for some outdoor ambiance. But as far as repelling mosquitos, citronella is not effective at all.

i fell for it and bought these last time. they do not work for mosquitoes!
too late to return and still haven't used them yet even for ambience/scent

Citronella candles do not repel mosquitoes. Get a Thermacell or smoke coils.

Or a basil plant or 2. The mosquitoes seem to really hate lemon basil plants. That's why I'm planting more of them.

Plants don't repel mosquitoes, the essential oils do.
