I am using them to cover external windows/doors around the perimeter of my house, pointing back at the house. They augment outward facing doorbell cams at the front and side doors of my house, along with powered floodlight cams on my garage/driveway and one story extension/addition off the back of the house.
At $57.50 per camera, this looks like a good deal, the older gen Homebase essentially being free. If I needed additional cameras, this ends up being a better deal than the individual cameras. At this price, if you don't have any security cameras and are looking to jump in, this could be a decent option, and if you decide to change to another brand in the future, you won't feel too bad at only a $230 entry point.
No monthly fee. Home Assistant support is only rudimentary at this point as far as I can tell. No 24HR recording option (battery killer), and no RTSP as far as I know.
