This case was very good new, I really loved it but failed after 8 months. I do drop my phone quite often, but chunk of left right corner just fell apart and letter G unglued it self (although I managed to glue it back on). Rubber also changes the feeling when used (probably hand grease). I would recommend if you are okay with changing case once in a while.

Totally agree, and came here to ask OP to change the title to something like: "Google Pixel 9 Case or Pixel 9 Pro Case - Obsidian at Amazon for $17.49"
With all the Prime Day, Walmart+, etc...deals going on, we're all trying to be first for the "too good to be true" deals....which this one seemed to imply with almost 4,000 views...for just a phone case. Smilie

I was excited to try the official google case when I got my pixel 9 pro xl, so ordered it off Amazon with free returns. Spoiler alert, It was returned. The quality was very good and the power button was a fun color but the case was smooth instead of textured so likely to slip out of my hand.

The Spigen Armor case is $13.51 today. Much better looking case, has grippy sides and elevated border. Google's case looks very thin.

I used to go with Spigen, but I bought a case from Crave and I have been satisfied. Good grip, good protection and small form factor.

I can count on one hand the amount of times I've used wireless charging for phones in the past few years. I like that it's there if the port breaks but otherwise it's a very inefficient way to charge your phone.

Got a free Pixel 9 Pro from trading in a pixel 3 recently. Saw this Google case but went with Caseology Athlex and am really pleased with it. Great grip and feel, tight fit on phone.
