Considering a non rotating ooni is 300, this is probably a good entry into small pizza oven. Yes my ooni gets stone temp to600+ and oven top to 900x but my large blackstone with rotating stone takes 30 seconds longer to bake and I don't have to wait for the stone to reheat. If I'm making pizza for myself I love the ooni but I have kids and they have friends. I use the blackstone 16" every time (model 6824) somehow I scored in store clearance for $100.

Yeah the video reviews I've seen don't paint a pretty picture. But they reviewed based on a $300 price point - at $100 maybe it's worth it.

I have a Gozney Rocbox that has been great! For someone who doesn't have one of these pizza ovens, and especially has kids, for the price I'd give it a try. Cheaper options include pizza stones you can throw on a grill (with a lid).

For 97 bucks and. 3 year warranty for 12 bucks, I'll bite even though have have a the other one from last year (next grill ora 12) that was 99 from hd. It's still in the box, but having auto rotating...

I am curious it's probably the Blackstone design that doesn't have the dome for the full heat.. thus not getting to the 800+ range. However the ooni first gen was also flat and didn't have this problem (other issues like finicky). I'm tempted to say a welding blanket draped on the top may fix the temp problem.

I just bought a pizza stone (Stok or something like that) and use on my gas grill. Cooks an amazingly good crust on the pizza.

Going to try this out warranty and oven for under 125 bucks seems like a good deal!

It's one of those things, I buy a bunch of stuff and only use it once. If I really like this maybe I'll upgrade in the future.
