How much better than the 2 is this? Was never happy with the 2 bc it didn't seem to deal with whites well.

So why would this not work on a 75 inch TV is the lights just not long enough for full coverage?

Yup, of course. Just doubling the worth of the original comment.

I would assume camera reach. I doubt it's the light size. Just an assumption though.

The LED strips are not long enough to stay near the perimeter of the back of that large of a TV, leaving the corners black. It will work but won't be as full. With that being said, some people think that having the LED strips set in a couple-to-a-few inches find the lighting to be more blended, less harsh, I.e. better.
Edit: I just clicked through this SD link and there an option for 75"-85" for $77.

At least you should elaborate on that so it doesn't look like a bias opinion

this looks like a lot better plug&play, than the DIY project I put together with a raspberry pie and HDMI mirroring...a few years ago

T3 lite has RGBICW, so it has dedicated white LEDs. I cancelled my T2 order earlier today after noticing that.

The T3 Lite has fewer LEDs per foot and is a downgrade in that sense.
