While it is a good deal... These coolers are relics of 10 years ago and aren't very good. Per GamersNexus you want the ID-COOLING SE - 120 at $14.40 - Budget low power cooler. If you think you are cooling something more, I think it is still the Phantom Spirit SE or Peerless Assassin in the $30 range.

Good for at least 130W TDP. Some 212 variants are rated for 200W and I believe this model is one of them. For $10 I will keep one for a future build.

Guys, I know you all love to save money.
I have this cooler as well.
But this cooler is (at most) only good for Intel i5 or ultra 5 AND AMD Ryzen 3, 5 and maybe Ryzen 7 CPUs.

If you try to use this cooler with the high end CPUs like i7/i9/ultra 7/9 or Ryzen that has 12Cores/24Threads or 16 cores/32 threads, your CPU will hit the thermal limit and got slowed down.

It still makes sense to buy this $10 if you have a Amazon Prime account,
you can use this cooler when you have a new build but the new cpu cooler got delayed by shipping or
Ali Express got killed by tariffs so the $20 cooler is no more or
your current CPU cooler just died without cause.
This cooler can be a life saver in these cases.

My Alienware mobo died so i took the cpu and put this cooler on the lga1200 i7 and it cools perfectly fine, but then I am not overclocking much or often. i going to buy this and return the one i got from Amazon last month.
