Nice! Very tempting to scoop at this price. Though I wonder if there's a significantly noticeable performance decrease when compared to playing it on PC. I barely use my Switch OLED and wouldn't mind playing this in handheld mode on the couch or in bed before 😴.

Just finished playing this and it was a fun playthrough. They added a bunch of small QOL elements while keeping the game largely as is. Graphics are great too. I paid $40 and was happy at that price, so this feels fairly slick.

I put 60ish hours into it, but I didn't rush it, wandered a lot, and I probably retraced my steps too much. I didn't grab everything (the collectibles) and I skipped the "end-game dungeon" as it basically would require me to grind a dozen or two hours to play. I preferred to do the normal grinding/playing.

If you like JRPG's or especially the old school games this is a great deal on a great game. The nostalgia of the era of the NES version and using the Nintendo Power guide to finish it was a special part of my childhood. Heck I learned to read during this game. 🥲

If you haven't heard of it, check out howlongtobeat dot com.

You can find average playtimes as voted on by players for pretty much everything that isn't a day one release.

Then add about 10-20% to the average time because the sickos who go to the effort of logging all their playtimes on howlongtobeat play through games way faster than more casual players, at least in my experience.

That's fair. I usually just go by the leisure column, and if it ends up a bit shorter, so be it.
