YMMV but even better for American Express card holders that were able to activate a 'use Membership Rewards' for a percentage off. I was able to stack and use my 15% off promotion by using 1 cent of Amex Rewards for an additional 15% off. So $69.99 for $100 for me.

I tried getting multiple Lowe's and it only took off a total of $15 regardless of how many I put in my cart. Do they have to be in separate transactions?

Yes, one card in each transaction. However, after several there are problems with credit card declining and cards not being delivered. Sytem thinks there is fraud going on with so many similar transactions. One has to stop this crazy affair.
