Agreed. The key is patience. Set it and forget it. Followed the instructions and left one along the path of ants coming in from one of my windows. No more ants two days laters.
These are so far behind Alpine WSG for getting rid of ants it's not even funny. We tried Terro for over a week with no improvement. Alpine wsg got rid of the stupid little odorous house ants overnight.

This is a good price on these Terro baits and they do an OK job short-term. If you have a real long-term infestation there are better products.
Optiguard[amazon.com] might take a little longer but really does the job. Advion is similar.
If you want to try Terro first (which is cheaper and works on some ants), the Terro liquid drops[amazon.com] are a better value than the bait stations.
Thank you so much I appreciate it your fast response.I need something in house to control ants I literally tried everything and no success.I have 2 cats i hope I can spray around house and not harm them

You did something wrong because these 100% do work

You should read the safety info on alpine wsg, but my understanding is that once it is dry it's safe for people and pets.

I've used it successfully before, but it didn't work this time. Terro works great for some sweet eating ants but doesn't work for all ants. Pest control people seem to say that terro can kill some ants too quickly. There's lots of info online if you look for it.
Diminishing returns on Terro in my experience. At first it was go-to, but the ants have seemed to develop an immunity to it…? Now they chow down until all the liquid is gone and keep coming.
Hey slickdealers, this might be a good deal but I want to tell you about the brand Advion. It really is superior to Terro. The Advion gel seems to hold up better and tends to not dry out. Both products have worked for me, in that ants get attracted to them and will swarm it, eating it all and carrying back to the colony where they kill the other ants.
But Advion just seems to last longer. The Terro stuff either drys out.
Note Advion might not be available via Amazon in your state, try Ebay.

These are only slightly better than a boot. OptiGuard Ant get for the win. more expensive, but a dot of it on a piece of painters tape and the colony is wrecked overnight.

Liquid is great too! (Unless you have pets) Not worth the stress (or worse!) if they find it.
