Optiguard [amazon.com] might take a little longer but really does the job. Advion is similar.
If you want to try Terro first (which is cheaper and works on some ants), the Terro liquid drops [amazon.com] are a better value than the bait stations.

Pest control people seem to say that terro can kill some ants too quickly.
There's lots of info online if you look for it.
Liquid is great too! (Unless you have pets) Not worth the stress (or worse!) if they find it.
But Advion just seems to last longer. The Terro stuff either drys out.
Note Advion might not be available via Amazon in your state, try Ebay.
