The wife was sold on the gold. Only way I could convince her that we needed to upgrade from the 2nd gen 😁

I've had it about a year (the Nest, not the wife). No problems so far (with the Nest, not the wife), and it works great with the sensors. Looks great too (applies to both).

still been doing good? Many say to get ecobee instead, but someone else told me that ecobee is more complicated of an interface and one nice thing about nest is if not having a c wire you can still sue it without needing a power adapter. Only thing now is it's not on sale...
