From what I understand, its a dice roll with global/independent sellers on Aliexpress, but if the shipping is done by Aliexpress Choice, then there shouldn't be any additional fees. Maybe someone can confirm this

Bought 4 of these previously, and I've purchased about 10 of the ones from China. The ones from China are honestly better quality and much lower in price. Highly recommend getting them instead.

Based on how fast technology evolves, I would expect that the first generation of Airtags will not be supported in ten years. Or, by the 3rd generation, it'll have a smaller footprint with a forever battery running on a superior network that is universally supported. It's like when people backed up files on floppy disks.
