The best price to date was that Walmart error for $799.99. Amazon matched it on time and there were a ton of people who were able to snag one, myself included. It's the best monitor I ever used. I highly recommend it.

Nice! I can see the appeal of a QD OLED 57" Ultrawide. I specifically wanted this monitor because it's not OLED/QD OLED. I have a S95C 65" when I want the QD OLED experience.

I work in finance, and I work from home two days a week so I'm constantly working with Excel spreadsheets, and the same suite of websites. I wouldn't want to worry about the screen dimming or burn in potential. I added the 5 year warranty from Amazon so I won't be upgrading anytime soon.

Last week's $620 deal was a pretty good one for an open-box model:

This is a good deal, but the deal I got several weeks ago was slightly better. $1425 for the monitor and JBL headset worth around $200, but you have to have Samsung EPP. I would have pulled the trigger on this one if I knew no other good option existed.

I wished they still sold the (Neo) 49"...why did they stop selling them?
Tried the 49" through ebay but return due to shipping damage (Vertical line in middle) but I wouldn't want to image a 57"...

If anyone wants my experience...its amazing for games that supports 32:9 and that's it!
21:9 games will be stretch way too much (More noticeable on the sides like a fish lense, there are youtube video showing examples) like even on Rainbow Six Siege turned down FOV to lowest (60) but the curve was too noticeable it was making me nausious...the curve is not noticeable on games with native 32:9 support.

The 1000r curve might be off putting for many specially for non-gaming since everything will be very curved...definitely not for everyone so throw everything at it and see if you're fine with it while there is a return window!

I think I will go with 21:9 with 1500r curve now...or perhaps I should try the 1000r again but with 21:9 since more games support it?

I have a new MacBook Pro 16" mainly use this for work spreadsheets slack plus 3 other work applications open. I have a 49" right now and would love the vertical real estate. Will this look pixelated?

I'm using a 49 Ultrawide Samaung now and would love to upgrade to this 57. So Much. I notice zero pixel issues, everything is crisp and clear when in Native Resolution. Using a 4090.

not sure about open-box but would you still buy a non-OLED (like the G95C) for $300 if it has been used as a floor/display model for 4 months?

I'm sure your colleagues love it when you share your screen!

My gut is: probably. It's way cheaper and since it's not OLED, it shouldn't have burn in, and since it's been running for 4 months, it's kind of been tested enough that you should see flickering/etc.

The downside is- does the floor/display model still have any kind of warranty?

Let's just do 360" already and have the screen completely envelop you.

It depends, haha. I either share the entire screen which displays as three monitors or I share a specific file or browser page so it works out for everyone.

My two 32 inch 4k 240hz OLEDs were cheaper. This is a lot for a VA panel.
