My Reolink cameras occasionally need to be reconnected to WiFi. Good if I catch it before a trip. Bad when Im 3,000 miles away and my camera went offline.
I want this camera, because on paper it a better deal than the Ring Floodlight Pro (2k) that I just got for the same price. But in practice, $99/yr for all my cameras is not too shabby.

It also does have PoE support, which can be seen on the manual from Reolink:

The RLC-823S1 has a slightly different use case, and is also $65 more. If your goal is to check up on things around the house, both will do that. If you need to view plate numbers at night, 100ft away, neither will do that.
Also, the optical zoom on the 823 is manual, and isn't really useful unless you are manning the camera, while the Trackmix can focus and zoom in on an object to record automatically.
The Trackmix can also see UNDER itself, while the 823 cannot. The Trackmix also has far superior auto tracking for some reason, and re-homes after tracking MUCH better. No idea why Reolink hasn't addressed this with other models, but it is what it is.
The only reason I would get a 823 over a Trackmix, is if you are manually looking around an area. For basic unmanned home security, the Trackmix is the better option.
If you want 4k autotracking without the auto-zoom feature that the Trackmix has, and still have the ability to optically (manually) zoom, the E1 Pro is probably a better option than the 823.
Especially since it's about $85 cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/REOLINK-Se...B0C27ZY3R5
