No, the listing comes up as the bundle.

However, the OP also included a link to just the console if one doesn't want the bundle. As I said, reading is fundamental.

Amazon was previously not selling Nintendo consoles. I guess Amazon and Nintendo worked out whatever the issue was between them.

It's less expensive than the original Switch adjusted for inflation and the components are superior.
That doesn't mean it's worth it to everybody. With DK out now it's a lot more enticing but on launch, it absolutely wasn't worth the price tag. MKW isn't great and the rest of the software was ports of stuff several years old or upgrades to existing switch games. That's hard to justify if you don't want to be an early adopter. I got one at launch, but simply being cheaper adjusted for inflation doesn't mean everybody wants to drop $500. People also had a lot more expendable income when the Switch 1 launched versus nowadays too.

Agreed. MKW isn't great. They make you use the new jump and mount or else you just cannot catch up. Able to nail tough turn for mini boost no longer enough.

Lies. I've played it almost every day since launch. I've personally tested many games on both consoles. Simple fact of the matter is that the switch 2 runs the majority of switch 1 games at a much more steady frame rate. Many of them, even ones that don't have patches, look and run much much better. Then there are the games that got actual switch 2 patches and enhancements. It's no comparison. It's an entirely new generation of system. Everything is much snappier. It's a much more solid system and can run some pretty heavy duty games in a surprisingly good fashion. Don't sit there and tell me the switch one can handle even a quarter of what the switch you can because you be lying if you said so. Just say you haven't played one and you're just giving your opinion because there is no truth to what you said.
Thank you for fighting the S2 FUD, @brewin80

Yup, saw it's also on sale at Costco for $63. Sold out at that price from Amazon. Tempting. I may wait a few weeks to see how the review go, or find a used copy on FB Marketplace. My kids and I have been playing MKW and they are starting over on ACNH as well.
"I may wait a few weeks to see how the reviews"
Early adopter, how hard are you looking? The pre-drop reviews nearly all said DKB is a GOTY nominee. "Masterpiece" is being used to describe the game. Some suggest it's the best game Nintendo has ever developed.

I, personally, don't see the point in rushing out to get a system that barely has any games for it. And, the games it has cost $80 each. I'd rather vote no with my wallet.

But thanks for sharing this offer, because it's a real chore to find the system so far.

Nintendo previously moved part of its production pipeline to Vietnam — the company and electronics manufacturer Hosiden have tried to "get to 50% of production from Vietnam," he wrote. Nintendo made the move in 2019, after threats of a previous U.S. trade war with China. https://www.polygon.com/explained...o-switch-2

Income tax, state sales tax, and now tariff tax...too many trying to drain my wallet.

That's a Nintendo problem, not a Me problem. Still not worth it.

So if you play steam games you don't make any of that your problem from the sounds of this. Epic gives away free games to claim every week.

I was one of the lucky ones who landed a Switch 2 during the preorder madness; I got mine from Walmart. I played MK World for a few days, then the honeymoon phase went away; I plan to get back on it. I just have so many other games and consoles. It felt more like a phone upgrade from Switch 1 if I'm being frank. Same UI, no home screen themes, same exact sounds on the console, etc.

Having said that, I just hit DK Bananza hard; that game sealed the deal for me, and it made it worth it 100%. INCREDIBLE game; I hope it wins GOTY, but there is a lot of competition this year. If Nintendo can keep pumping out gems like the DK game, in the long run it's totally worth upgrading to a Switch 2. With all of the IPs they have, it's very possible. Metroid Prime 4 is next on my list! If you land a Switch 2 and it becomes a $500 paperweight, don't worry; at least there's long-term value and exclusive games. Xbox and Sony can't say that anymore!

Seriously though, that DK game rocks my socks! I was amazed... like, I knew it'd be good, but man, they crushed it. There were some frame-dropping issues, which had me a bit disappointed, but that's my only gripe. 10/10 game. You're all going to want a Switch 2 down the line, so just buy it now, screw it, am I right? 😂

If MKW and DK are not "enough" for you for a new console launch then you are a hopeless individual.

PS because this is on the fp for some reason, know that you can buy this readily at almost every other big retailer

This is a deals site, not a product availability site. There's no reason this should be on the page, let alone promoted. This is literally the MSRP pricing that every store is selling them for, it's just hard to find them. Luckily, there are a billion sites that let people see up-to-date stock that are purpose-built for this exact type of thing.

Slickdeals is not one of them.

Do not worry! You both seem like Insufferable douche bags. Arguing over a video game post none the less.

Oh look, the uneducated is talking. No one was arguing over a video game post. I simply pointed out a fact instead of spreading misinformation.
