Huge YMMV and if you are able to stack it. I had a coupon of $45 to apply to an already reduced Mac Mini at Amazon. I then applied for an Amazon Prime credit card for the $250 gift card. I know I'm likely one of the few people who have not already opened one. I was then able to apply the gift card directly to this purchase.

I also selected the slowest shipping rate to get the 7% back in rewards. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen.

looks like it's a coupon on the product page bringing to 500 evenish. then he applied the 250 gift card from credit card

I'm not sure. I'd been scoping the Mac Mini for the last little bit (every day or so on Amazon and other places) and almost bit a couple of weeks ago. I suppose it is targeted.

Nah, not worth wasting one credit hard pull just for $250. Besides, MC always has it for $450. Or apple edu for $499.

Applying for a credit card isn't part of the deal here.
By that logic, I could get anything up to 250 for free, and everything up to that amount would be a slick deal.

Correct. You could put it to a new PS5 or bedsheets. I chose to offset the cost of the computer.

Change the title. This is not a deal about apple, so your title is totally irrelevant. This is at best a "deal" about the credit card, which honestly for getting only $250 for a hard pull, is not really a deal.
