They claim it helps with hair, skin, nails and joints. Can't speak for the first three but it definitely helped with my tennis elbow. After taking it for a few weeks nothing happened, then suddenly I the pain stopped. Continued taking it for months. Still no pain. Then my supply ran out and the pain came back. Don't think it helps with every kind of injury but I'm convinced it fixes that one.

this will help you if you have a terrible diet (just like any supplements). but if you just have a normal balanced diet, this probably won't do anything.

thats pretty much the whole supplement industry. no studies.
usually, the people that sell health products fund studies, especially an RCT. the supplement business doesn't - they don't want to know. if you fund it, you risk disproving your own product. people already buy it even though there's little to no evidence. so why ever fund studies.

I've wanted to start on collagen, and this seems like a good deal on a good one to try. The larger size is a better deal in the future, so I'll switch to that if I like it.

i used their dark chocolate one and i liked it, it seemed to help with my facial collagen. its bovine collagen which is is recommended for face and skin health. i like to take one serving of bovine and a serving of mixed collagen later in the day.

I read somewhere that this is the chicken wing equivalent in the beef industry. A by product that would have gone waste, but is now marketed for its health benefits.

Also, Costco has different company collagen products although I don't know the size or servings, but they are often on sale. If collagen is a direct extract of the cow, then the manufacturer shouldn't matter and the highest dose per scoop should do the trick.
