Question: Do you still see the ads while watching the contents even though you have paid for it but just because you are not paying for the prime video ad free subscription or that only applies to the prime video contents and not for your purchased movies and TV Shows?

No ads for shows or movies that you bought digitally, I've let my Prime membership lapse before and it never affected my being able to watch my video library without ads

It really hasn't. I mindlessly watched it when it came out, but a recent rewatch spoiled the vaguely good memory I had of the show. Great casting with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, but mean-spirited, low-IQ, "modern audience" writing that got progressively worse and worse as the seasons went on. The third season is unwatchable, much less the fourth season and that awful movie.
