IDK if I should jump on the 83 c4 or wait to see if the 77 c5 comes back.

I got it for about ~$2500 from the regular LG store after a 15% coupon code, 4% American Express cash back, and 45% "what's in your wallet" rewards. Returned it and bought the 98 inch TCL qm8k yesterday because the move to 83 inches from my 77 inch LG B2 OLED was underwhelming despite the massively improved picture quality. There's no replacement for displacement when it comes to that "wow" factor in a home theater.

As much as I wanted this TV I just couldn't justify $2k more for the same size. I just received the 83" B4. I know for sure the picture quality is not a 2k difference. Is this one brighter and looks better on the wall yes but not for 2k more. Extremely happy with the B4 for $1,600 tax in after the 4% AE.

It's a big stretch 2k, the G is better but honestly most people would not really notice. the only time it really shows itself is in HDR and dolby vision scenes which "pop" with the G series as it gets those areas much brighter which is needed for hdr/d vison to look its best. The b4 is a great tv.. only place it does not work is a non light controlled room in the day where you would need a C or G series depending on the light amount in the room. I am most likely going to pick up a b4, but I need to burn BB g/cards so that is my only option so that it costs me nothing..

Last year, G3 83" went down to $2800 for a month and finally to $1800 at my best buys. $1800 did not last long though.

Well that's frustrating, I thought paying $4,003 for this same deal two months ago was a steal.

seeing 45% cashback on C1 shopping app, not sure what price is on LG regular site, but got G4 when C1 shopping had 60% cashback and it worked well for net price under 1600. 45% may get you to around 2K

Dang. I added it to cart on C1 and took few hours time before deciding to go ahead. Now that offer is gone. What a miss. But thanks for the suggestion.

Can you share the code the LG rep gave you, it should still be saved in the chat with them. I am talking to one and he said he can try and match if I can get him a code for 15% that someone used, only giving me 8% currently.
