The best deal is not to spend money on things you don't need -- 100% off.

As nice as this deal is, if you already have a computer that meets your needs, wait till you need a new one. Deals always come around. But your money could be used towards more meaningful things.

Is it a good deal, should I buy it? Not a Mac user in the past but using one from 6 months . Have a Mac Pro 13 inch from
Employee for the first time in 15 years , prior used windows self and in employer laptops. Thinking to switch to Apple ecosystem but not sure. Already have a watch phone AirPods

If you already have the phone/watch/airpods, then you're missing out on not having a laptop from the Apple ecosystem. It allows for you to switch the AirPods seamlessly between the phone and the laptop, taking calls on your laptop, controlling your iPhone from the laptop screen, wirelessly sharing files between the devices, not to mention many other unnecessary, but nice to have stuff.
