I picked this mainly for wildfire season outages and the built-in NEMA 14-30R for backup power transfer. Also experimenting with recharging from my EV's 12V port (~100W trickle). Considering a VortiPower setup to pull faster DC charge from the EV if needed.
This isn't a perfect system (yet), but for a plug-and-play battery backup kit with 240V output and decent support, it checks a lot of boxes.

- Setup is dead simple, and the app works decently well for basic monitoring.
- UPS mode works, but there are a few quirks (see below).
- With 20kWh capacity, this should get us through ~2-3 days of backup for essentials (fridge, lights, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Great build quality and nearly silent operation – ideal for indoor use or apartment setups where gas gennies aren't an option.
