Awesome headset that I really like the hot swap battery feature. I haven't been having good success recently with Amazon's used - like new recently. Im wondering if anyone else has similar experiences?

Yup. I get the wrong product or size often these days. Also other items are missing a lot of parts.

Son bought these refurb from Woot! (Which is an Amazon subsidiary). Wonder if it's an equivalent? His have been rock solid for going on a year.
These were $149.99 at best buy new like 2 weeks ago. My kids are super happy with them. I'm still partial to my Astro a50s. Would like to see the lightspeed version go on sale so I could replace my 5 year old set.

Wow talk about a deal. I recently purchased the white pair for about $340. I had the black pair a couple years ago for about the same price. I really enjoy gaming with these.

Good catch! They are still extremely happy. Though I suppose the Nova might compare better to my Astros. Great value either way. Steel series delivers on a quality product for sure.

I got mine from Woot! also. One of the batteries was dead so they reimbursed me $20. That bought me 2 new OEM batteries direct from the SteelSeries website. Other than the battery, everything has been great.
Took a chance on these given the price and needing a replacement for my current ones. Box came in decent shape but had obviously been opened before. Headset was in brand new condition with no wear as if someone had tried it on once but then returned it. The base station still had its original plastic on. Both batteries were there and have no obvious use marks.
Downside is steelseries will not warranty this but it's worth the risk given the cost of a brand new one and the condition this came in. Overall great price on a great product.
