$550 for a PC built by a company notorious for cheapening out on hardware, using brands like Wigipoopoo for SSDs and RAM. Things like HDMI ports, LAN adapters, difficult to find fans, etc. failing after return period is over. No warranty whatsoever. High rates of failures vs companies like Beelink. Previous history of shipping spyware and malware infested Windows installations. Brilliant shills here.
These things have great specs, horrible at everything else, mainly long term reliability. If you only plan on using these for 1-2 years, before pawning it off to someone else, then these are maybe worth the risk. If you don't want to risk ending up with a paperweight after a 6+ months, look at spending a little bit more for something more reliable.
So close. Would have ultra the trigger if it had oculink
Yes, probably the only drawback of this machine. Also, this is literally the cheapest price for a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Mini PC by far.
regarding the OCuLink Port, the main advantage is the higher bandwidth for external GPU dock as no other peripherals are available yet using that port. If you're not planning to use a very powerful GPU and stick with a mid range solution then the USB4 ports will do a decent job as well.
Can someone tell me if this is a legit response I got from Chat GPT: Acemagic is not a reliable choice if security matters. The initial malware installation suggests poor quality control and potential firmware-level infections that are difficult or impossible to remove safely. Many reviewers and tech experts advise avoiding the brand entirely.

Well, considering you have to install your own OS, not really an issue.

Plus, this has two m.2 slots, so you could use one for oculink with an adapter. 🤷 ♂️

Notebookcheck.net puts the 890m on par with the GT1650 (laptop).

EDIT: Just did some research, looks like the 4060 does slightly come out on top.
