I purchased one..... the rod that inserts into the handle would slip out depending which wy it was inserted. The machining had to be off, strange inserted one way it was perfect, the other way slipped right out.

I bought several of these, one for work. No, there are no spare bits. That "bar" referenced in the pic pulls out and flips around and has a double-ended flathead bit. And that phillips you see in the pic is also a double bit. Plus the two sockets (2 sizes) that hold the two bits, and you get your 6 pieces. The handle doesn't open, so no storage compartment.

If you have a Harbor Freight near you, this is the same basic design as the one they have (just no hex shank- but who reefs on the hex shank on a combo screwdriver), which is sometimes given away as a freebie but is otherwise $2.50:
