I've been drinking unflavored protein powder in water for years. It's supposed to be a convenient way to consume protein, not an artificially sweetened candy milkshake

You've been drinking it for years. You're used to it. Most people will not be happy with this for just a regular protein shake.

Far from a prot expert, but this is concentrate. Hydrolized>isolate>concentrate. Note this as unflavored is 76% protein per volume. While the Dymatize chocolate Woot deal is 78% with flavoring. That's due to the more pure protein.
Concentrate is the least processed so it has the highest amount of immunoglobulins. Therefore it is my most preferred whey type

it really depends, if you have cholesterol issues, 1 serving of this concentrate is 25% of your daily cholesterol vs iso which has pretty much none. If you're just lifting weights/trying to get in shape and your cholesterol is fine just get the cheaper concentrate

Got this.
I mix it in smoothie so no issues with concentrate.
But I'm used to vanilla whey powders. Any suggestions on what I mix with this to make it taste a lil sweet/closer to vanilla?

I use in my ninja creamis. Vanilla extract and vanilla bean paste combined make it taste great. For sweetener I use a date and honey and some fake sugar like sucralose
