The Invicta product page is a little light on information about this model. Here's a bit more from Jomashop [jomashop.com]:

Stainless steel case with a stainless steel mesh bracelet. Uni-directional rotating aluminum and stainless steel bezel. Black dial with silver-tone Mercedes-logo and Breguet-style shape hands and index hour markers. Minute markers around the outer rim. Dial Type: Analog. Luminescent hands and markers. Date display at the 3 o'clock position. Miyota Caliber 8215 Automatic movement, containing 21 Jewels, beating at 21600 vph, and has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. Scratch resistant mineral crystal. Screw down crown. Transparent see through case back. Round case shape, case size: 40 mm, case thickness: 14.10 mm. Band width: 20 mm, band length: 8 inches. Buckle clasp. Water resistant at 200 meters / 660 feet. Functions: date, hour, minute, second. Pro Diver Series. Casual watch style. Watch label: Japan Movt. Invicta Pro Diver Automatic Men's Watch 47721.

I have Invicta's Pro Diver Automatic Black Dial Men's Watch model 8926OB, which is very similar except that it has a 3 link oyster style bracelet instead of mesh and it's powered by a 24 jewel Seiko NH35 movement instead of the 21 jewel Miyota 8215 movement. I wouldn't get hung up on the 3 fewer jewels - they're both well-regarded workhorse automatic movements. Invicta gets a lot of hate from enthusiasts, but the truth is it's a very nice watch at this price.

A few additional caveats:

If you're unfamilar with automatic watches, these are mechanical movements. They do not offer quartz level accuracy (think 10-20 seconds +/- every day versus a few seconds +/- every month). And unless you leave the watch on your wrist or wind it periodically, it will stop running after the power reserve runs out (about 40 hours).

This is a dive watch that uses a screw down crown to help acheive its 200 meter water resistance rating. What that means in practical terms it will be waterproof far deeper than you'll ever take it, but only if you remember to screw the crown fully closed after winding it or setting the time. If you neglect to do that and take it swimming - even once - you'll likely ruin the mechanical movement.

Biggest knocks against these Invicta Pro Diver watches (besides the fanciful MSRP): mineral crystal instead of the more scratch resistant sapphire crystals found on more expensive watches, and the word "Invicta" is inscribed on the left side of the stainless steel case, which bugs some people. It never bothered me.

I also have the 8926OB, I asked my wife to get it for me as a gift because it was inexpensive and looks great. It was my first automatic watch. However, IMO the biggest knock is you'll get plenty of compliments from your family and friends, they'll be like ooooo what are you wearing, sees the Invicta logo and oh (insert awkward silence). My brother straight up called it a knock off submariner, so I don't really wear it much anymore.

I now daily a G-Shock, even to formal events. My Apple Watch is mainly for workouts

This is ridiculous value for the 8215 movement - I think that itself costs just as much as this watch.

For $40 for an automatic with screw down crown and "brand" name, it's worth it for a beater or first time automatic

That's true. almost rather wear a replica with less awkwardness than a "homage"

Shipping kinda downgrades the deal. Maybe I have to get the 8926OB to hit free shipping! also add in the 30% new customer discount.

I've owned one Invicta watch. I loved the look of it, but two hour markers and the little wing emblem detached from the face over time and rattled around inside the watch, causing the hands to get stuck. This was after about 18 months of daily wear. The Invicta site said it had a three year warranty, but because I bought it from Amazon, they claimed the warranty was good for only one year. I was happy with the short time I had it, but it is a low quality watch and not a great company.

I counter with Seiko and Orient.
Invicta IMO is not as reliable or known as Seiko.
