You're missing the point here.
Zwilling makes higher-end knives in-house in Germany while lower-end knives are outsourced to China. People just want to point out these knives aren't in-house made.
As far as I know, all iPhones are outsourced and there aren't any in-house made ones, so it's an Apples and oranges (pun unintended) comparison.
