I work at a kitchen with multiple cooking equipments. These were not powerful enough for me, at max 3 speed. Just FYI.

It does target the neck. I wish they made one for my balls though.

Spent 10 days in Japan in June. These definitely helped. On low setting, it moves enough air to keep you comfortable while sitting in warmer humid areas, and high setting keeps you comfortable while you are hoofing it. At the end of a 10 hour day out, I had between 5-20 percent remaining. Will definitely put them to use when at home working outside.

I don't know why people want to order this. To my understanding, the hottest part outdoors might be your neck, your back and potentially your forehead. This fan has nothing to do with these locations.

100%. and it claims it targets the neck, but it barely does anything. the contact point with your neck is so large it makes it MORE hot and sweaty and it is literally the last thing you want on your neck. these pos are junk.

I bought this one a week ago and used is several days in a row, the battery lasted at least 8 hours if you use low or med speed. I wish I would have know about these neck fans earlier, it makes outdoor work so much more comfortable. I ended up buying several more for family members. The digital battery readout is a big plus as a well.

these 5200mah fans, the ones that look exactly like this, seem to have pass-thru charging. i just got 1 yesterday. i'm pretty sure i can run this fan full speed all day long with it plugged into an external power bank/battery. so, while this is not the most powerful, adjustable, or effective neck fan. if i am able to use it full speed while it is also plugged in and charging... i think it's worth the $13.

This is a good price. If you really want cooling, you should get one with the cooking pad at the back of the neck and just run it without the fan to max battery. Makes a huge impact.

These style fan pretty much useless. It blows air only next to your ear. You don't need to hold it.l, but it also stick to your neck. I would prefer a handle fan instead.

Louisiana brutal heat and humidity and I work outside a LOT! I have tried all these neck fans, multiple models and clip on fans like the Ryobi, etc. The problem with the neck fans is they actually make your neck hotter after 10-15 minutes. The air nlowing on your face is ok, but when your neck starts getting hot, it defeats the purpose. The clip on fans are ok, like I can clip it to my lawn mower as I cut grass, but just working around the yard or attending a sporting event, it's not convienant to sit there and hold it in your hand.

What I found that works is a fan that clips on your waistband and blows under your shirt. It's called a Waist fan if you look on Amazon and Walmart sells them too. They work really good if your shirt isn't too tight. Really pushes some air and actually cools you down. Feels great when out in the hot sun working. When you sit down, you might have to reposition the fan, but it only takes a second and keeps you cooler than you were. The heat doesn't magically disappear, but at least your getting a steady breeze up the middle part of your body.

Though not currently available, I have this one and posting just to say that piece in the back that keeps it off your neck is a real plus so if you're looking for one, try to get one with that. I've tried one without and it makes a big difference. Let's be realistic, only A/C is going to cool you on a hot humid day but this really does help some when you are outside in such weather. It is 7000mAh and 4 "turbo" speeds though so, comparably, somewhat stronger than posted item.
