The dial is not too big. The wrist is just too small. It's a dive watch. The dial is supposed to be big so you can see it under water. It helps you to not die. It's a tool watch and serves a purpose

4.6 out of 5 over almost 9000 reviews is quite good. I suspect it's often returned not because it's a bad timepiece, but instead that it's rather large at 44mm.

True.. very good watch but the dial is bigger for the average wrist size

The designs of the bezel make it seem a little big but it's definitely not. Unless you're an 8yo (not apply to 120lbs 8yo), it will be fine. Swap the band with a leather band or something less bulky will make it "look" a lot smaller.

Great diver. I have two. Black and Blue. I remember these being $99 on Primeday, but more importantly, in the colors you wanted...not the ones only a few people want.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300m is 42mm.
That said, this is a really nice watch. The high number of returns are probably for the diver case which can come damaged.
Eco Drive - meh.
Prefer the automatic NY0040 and it's $189.00.
Also this eco-drove watch is commonly found at reputable dealers for $215. That MSRP is a joke and this isn't really much of a deal.
I have another variation (black) or this watch. I have girly wrist and I think it wears smaller than some 44mm. Been great but the strap is freaking thick and a bit stiff, but no big deal. Excellent watch. I was about to get it till I realized I already had one.

Ever heard of fake reviews? Read the 1-star reviews and you'll see that this watch has serious issues!

The Eco-Drive is more accurate and more robust than those cheap automatics.

I doubt this particular model ever got as cheap as $99. Must've been another Citizen diver (they have many similar looking watches in their diver collection).
