WIreless charger may be convenient but
- 15% - 20% loss charging the device depends on the gap between phone and the charger. If you use case, depends how thick and material of the case, that is why most phones use glass back since 8 years ago to better better wireless chaging. So, it is better to charge without case.
- For that energy loss, it generates heat, it can make your phone hot especially in hot weather. not practical. Battery doesnt like heat.. So it probably will reduce battery life.
So for last 5 years, I use magnet cable. But it is hard to find good magnet cable with magnet adapter
Good thing with them is the adapter always in the port of the phone so less wear and tear, and blocking dust to get in. But it could cause issue if water gets in, like if the phone drop into water and the adapter may cause charge port damage....
