I grabbed a pair.

I've had great experience with the cheaper versions and this will be an extra set. Thanks OP

In for one. The Mrs started a TikTok and these should be a cheap and easy "just because I thought of you" gift.

Why does it say Bluetooth if it doesn't have that functionality?

Doesn't 'require' Bluetooth, but probably uses it internally. The "connective technology" of 2.4Ghz supports this. The claimed range is way high for BT but at least one review says the range is much lower.

Thank you but I got excited because I'm looking for an actual Bluetooth version of these for my computer that doesn't require that dongle to be plugged in

Yeah, I get that. I don't understand the point of the port attachment even on a phone, unless this allows for some low latency move of BT. For $9, in going to suspect no.
Have you considered headphones (thinking neck cord headphones) and just configuring to use the microphone only if that's what you need?
Alternately: I routinely use the microphone in my webcam for voice calls. It's not a cheap webcam (~$70 IIRC) so the microphone is quite decent. I would assume the range is limited, but I can't get more than 8 feet away without leaving the room and it works fine to that distance.

I will definitely look into that. Thank you
