I just bought this TV at this price from beach camera 2 weeks ago and wanted to say it was worth every penny. Great picture quality and the Google interface is great. My only downfall is 3 HDMI ports but I don't need them that bad. Great mid level tv. if anyone has any questions I'll do my best to answer.

Hisense -minus OLED +plus 55inch = $800 seems like high right? Maybe it has amazing reviews but not what I expect from Hisense brand

This rates as well as LG C4 on rtings

If you have a bright room mini-led is the way to go. Although the C5 is in a new league and with the so so G5 tech rates the same as a G5. 9.1 iirc vs the 8.3 of this tv and the LG C4

Point is application and situation becomes the X factor at this level.

I feel like Mini-LED is the way to go. No joke - I resisted buying an OLED since 2019 because I feared that once I'm spoiled by OLED, all of my older tv sets will look like trash. Let's just say I went all out this year and got the Samsung S90D OLED (I believe it's Samsung's 2nd best OLED behind the S95D). Although blacks are undeniably the best on OLED's, the bright highlights are just sort of underwhelming when I watch all of these HDR contents - so colors don't have this "pop". Long story short, I still enjoy watching HDR stuff on my 4 year old 55" TCL 4-series tv that I had picked up for $220 at Best Buy during Black Friday. Where the OLED really SHINES however is when watching horror/thriller movies with lots of dark scenes because the blacks don't get crushed on OLED's (so you're still able to see the fine details on dark scenes).
