the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT was priced good when it was around $599 MSRP which made it a great price point for performance to price ratio, however sadly the $599 pricing was only a marketing gimmick and appears AMD never really wanted it at that price. Shame on them for this tactic, they just wanted the reviews to come in strong saying it was a great card, its a great card for that 599 price. However at around $750 or anything close it it, its better to get a Nvidia Gefore 5070 TI when its on sale for about $50(~5-10%) more ($750-$800 as low as recently for the Geforce 5070 Ti), for that extra money you are getting about ~20%+ better performance over the AMD Radeon RX 9070XT in pur Rasterisation and in 2K+ and 4K+ gaming and in Ray tracing the Geforce 5070 Ti blows the Radeon 9070 XT out of the water by a land slide. AMD needs to lower the price of the MD Radeon RX 9070 XT to atleast around $650 or lower for this card to be worth the hype again. And they need to quit that "promotional" pricing gimmick which was highly deceptive to consumers. (btw i am not a Geforce fanboy, 4 out of my last 5 purchased video cards have been AMD Radeon, sad to say i havent been too thrilled)

Is this really double the price of the RX 9060XT? Is it worth paying double the price for a 9070XT playing today's games? (Honest question)

$599 would get the cards in the hands of more gamers. Unfortunately, $599 was more of a price for those who could get their hands on the cards on day 1. At $700-$900, the people considering this card would probably pay extra to get a 5070ti. Unfortunately seems like unless there is a huge promotion by AMD, that $599 price is never coming back unless they have a massive inventory of unsold cards that they can't get rid of.

Hmm ... not to defend AMD cause I have a 5070 ti. I debated for weeks before pulling the trigger on the 5070 ti.

During the course of watching multiple benchmarks, the 5070 ti doesn't seem to have the 20% rasterization uplift over AMD in a consistent basis, probably in very few selected games that I miss, but most of the time with current popular games, I saw only 3-5% leads for the 5070ti if I remember correctly; and some titles would show 9070 xt leading as well.

There's no denying that 5070 ti is better in ray tracing, but to claim 20% rasterized performance is really stretching it.
