I am literally looking at a $50 off coupon code in the eufy app; not sure if I can share the code or if its unique

Oh nice. The site is 120 but the app is 99!

I have a doorbell and planning to get a few outdoor cameras. Is this worth it? The facial recognition seems useful but the other features don't really stand out. It looks like it's only required for specific cameras like the 210, but haven't decided which to get..

Yes, definitely worth it as it responds quicker to requests from the app to view previous clips etc. it's dependent on your network speeds but it's just overall a faster experience as long as you got a solid network.

The ability to add additional storage drives is also a plus because the cameras themselves are limited to much smaller SD cards.

The base is very good but the price not great since it included with many camera packages. If you are not looking to buy or upgrade cams then yes its a good upgrade over V2 base. The app generally has a better deal often than $99 so keep an eye out there.

It improves performance for your Eufy ecosystem but it tends to get extremely hot. Burned up a 2TB drive already. Already printed a vent top and using a USB 40mm fan to help it stay cooler

I've installed two of these for family members and have not had this issue. Wonder if you got a faulty one?

it's a pretty common issue. just search 'eufy homebase overheating' or 'eufy homebase hard drive not detected'
