Just curious why the thumb down? Just curious since it was over $2400 before and it got thumbs up. Is this not a good deal?

I am not entirely sure but this config has the 1tb SSD and I think many of the other deals had 2tb. Otherwise, it does seem like its not super available via that link.

Not sure if the other options for the 5090 variant are available or not (or at what price)

There are some folks here who don't like others beating them posting deals and downvote others' deal.
And this deal offering same price as the last FP deal for the RTX 5090 variant.
In fact, this specific configuration is actually $40 cheaper than the last Frontpage deal.

This price is not accurate - when you switch to the +$60 display, for some reason it actually adds an additional $160 instead of $60, bringing the pre-coupon total to $3,059.99 instead of $2,959.99.

Amazing price. But not worth it if you can get desktop. 5090 laptop = weaker 5070ti desktop

Expired. Back up to $3399. HP is the absolute worst, second time they've changed the price mid-"sale". Happened to me during the July 4th sale too. Thanks though.

Talk about HP weirdness. The configuration I went for (HP Omen max with OLED and 5080) was $1800 yesterday when I bought it, then I noticed it was $1700 today! Almost canceled and reordered but then by this afternoon it was $2000! So in short I guess I'm keeping my $1800 order.

The prices are all over the place today. I did see the OP's price listed on the site so I didn't vote either way, but after going to check out it went to the higher price. And then it went higher still. Looks like the "flash sale" is more about jacking up prices lol
