I have a similar 4-person tent that is so easy to setup....less than 5 mins for a beginner and <2 mins for an experienced camper. If you like to stay comfortable, always count 50% capacity of the persons sleeping in the tent.

As a frequent tent camper, the best advice I can offer is don't buy too big of a tent if you think you might be camping in a place with uneven ground. Lots of the paid tent sites I camp at wouldn't accommodate a tent of this size without being lopsided on one end or another.

I need a tent right now so I'm afraid of being impulsive. This seems to more than fit my needs. Anyone have additional thoughts on this deal? I am not fully compelled despite mrsunny's very helpful comments. Thanks for any insight in advance!

I tend to shy away from Ozark Trail products because they tend to not last very long. I'm sure this is great for people on a budget, but I would save a little more money to get a Coleman tent.

I bought this exact tent and it fell apart after a long weekend. The pole system is held together in critical areas by plastic, and they broke after less than 10 days of usage total (setup and broke down camp 3 times, once to try the tent, once to camp, once to open it up and dry it out). The size and porch ruled, it was a nice, cheap option for a tent with some walking around room for my wife and I and a dog, but no way would I buy this again. The material and fabric felt fine but the pole support ruins it. If they spent a couple of extra bucks and those plastic components were metal or stronger somehow I'd buy another in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.
