I may be wrong here, but I don't think I am as I was bummed to see this deal knowing I bought it back on 4/1/25.

This is not the "60 second setup" instant tent. Walmart has 2 listings for this tent, one for $119, one for $125. The $125 is the instant tent, the $119 (this one) is the regular tent.

Agreed. This is their "easier up" version of their tents, not instant. Even the instant tents don't go up in 60 seconds. These easier up versions are somewhere between the instant and traditional tents. Prob take about 10-15 minutes for someone that has done it a bunch.

6 person usually means 3 -4 people comfortably, for Ozark brand in my experience

It's not hard to put up. I did it alone and I'm a small female over 55!

Skylights in the rain fly seem like a really stupid idea. The rain fly is supposed to keep the rain out. Just take it off if you want max sunlight.

I have the instant tent version, and it can snap into place within 60 seconds. The slowest part is probably laying an optional tarp under, anchoring it down , and going around to hook the top rain fly over. I've used it in high winds in Zion, Grand Teton, and other local California trips without any issues. I've had it for years now. Over time, the black layer inside can get scratched so light may seap through, but it's still my favorite tent for the price. Just make sure you understand how to set it up before a trip.

I have this tent and it survived really strong downpour camping all night in Maine. Just a little water came in and all I had was rain fly. Its perfect for a couple. Sleeping in is nice in mornings because it stays nice and dark.

You open the tent below the skylight if you want light and more air in. We like it at night with a clear sky.

I have the quick pop-up version of this. I'm actually on my 2nd one. The first 1 lasted maybe 3 years, used 3 or 4 times. Somehow ripped the top of the tent mesh. Guess it was caused by the feet as you fold the tent. My 2nd one, I left the cardboard ring to help prevent the prob. So for so good. I imagine this version is the same construction. My issue is, it's not rainproof at all. It will leak through the seams and you'll get water inside the tent.

I had one set up for almost a year after Hurricane Ida in my backyard. It survived all types of weather. After a year the fabric began to split in places which I duck taped. I was able to store things, sleep there, etc. while recovering from Hurricane.

The rain flap covers really well. I did get some clips (and/or clothespins) at some point just to make sure. It's ground water that can mess you up. But for camping it's perfect. Lay down a tarp first on higher ground and put tent on top of that.

If you want light just unclip one corner of the rain flap and easily clip it back without removing the whole thing. Clothespins or tent clips come in handy.

I also have the instant one. I love it. I think any tent should have a dark rest feature. It does scratch off over time but only small marks which has yet to affect its performance. It also is not a 6 man. Fits 3 barely.
