Japan has regulations against the use of BPA in food containers. Container is probably polypropylene which is BPA free

There's plastic in both tap water and bottled water, so there's zero chance you're not already full of plastic.

I bought 4, am I trolling?
Last time I paid $14 for one 10-pack. Figure if I eat at least half before expiration, I'm break-even

I'm torn. I've order these on 2 occasions. 1st time was great and I liked how the rice came out. 2nd time, it was already 2 months past the expiration date on the package (got a quick refund on it). But the price is quite solid right now.

Uncooked parboiled rice can be safely consumed long past its expiration date if stored properly in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. It can last for years, potentially even decades, under these conditions. The "best by" date is an indicator of optimal quality, not safety.

Tastes good and sticky as hell. Nice if you need to add rice to a dish at work or on the go.
