Seriously are these really 1000 lumen output? I've purchased some of these cheap knock offs and the up returning them because they are not what they say they are.

also no mention if this is usb-c charging.

Just to clarify, it's not 5400 lumens β€” it has a 5400mAh rechargeable battery.

Check out the Wuben, often on sale for $25. It's a pretty solid light, has a user replaceable 21700 included, and a tube adapter so you can also use an 18650 if you want. I forget the projected lumens but it's a solid bike light, very well constructed (aircraft aluminum) & for $25? Hum bruh, just go buy it haha πŸ˜†. Seriously, it's a great light.

This looks to have two internal 18650 cells so 1000 lumens is easily possible. Let's say it's 10 watts at full power, that's 5.4AH at 3.7v, so nearly exactly 20 watt hours. That would make high power mode about 2 hours runtime. Not too far off the specs provided. It's probably 750-1000 lumen depending on efficiency of the driver and LEDs. Looks like a great price, but I won't buy it because I only buy lights with easily swapable cells (18650, etc.).

$13, at this price point, swappable battery doesn't even matter to me.

fwiw, the best bike light I've used has a beam pattern is rectangular like a car [urlhasbeenblocked.com]. It is a German standard. Everybody wins- oncoming cars are not blinded, and that light is instead projected in useful places for the rider. That pattern is pretty cool, just like a car, squared off and rectangular. Not a useless round ball like most lights. Look for "German standard" and/or StVZO.

"StVZO bike lights are designed to conform to German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations, with a beam shaped to avoid dazzling other road users."

Disclaimer- I don't know what beam pattern the light in this deal is. Clicking through says nothing about the beam pattern
