is that sarcasm? ON quality is 💩 Full of artificial sweeteners (sucralose, aspartame potassium), chemicals/preservatives, and other cost cutting lower quality ingredients. This protein without all the chemicals is a superior product at a superior price. too bad deals dead or I would have stocked up on a few.NOW is a great brand, and I take their multivitamins and a few other supplements on a daily basis.

Can someone explain why something like this [amazon.com] is bad? Its comparable in price (although not 10lbs) but there are so many brands of protein, does it really REALLY matter in the end?

I investigated this company as well and have been a fan for years - I will note they also don't use hormones on the cows (non rBST - rBST, also known as recombinant bovine somatotropin, is a synthetic hormone that can be injected into dairy cows to increase milk production).

There's nothing "bad" about it, but It's not isolate as Amazon describes. That specific protein is more whey concentrate. Many of us can't take whey concentrate for a number of reasons. Personally, I will have gurgling peekaboo gas ALL day if get near the stuff.

Then there's the constant blather about sweeteners, protein grams per calorie, colesterol, yada yada yada, on and on...

My advice: Ignore 90% of it and figure it out for yourself. It's about 100% more important to simply be consistent in the "gym" than to be worrying about the silly & trivial details of powders.
