Steer clear from these. The current models are NOT the same as from previous years. I bought these three years ago, still working. I bought a second set 3 months ago, and three of four have failed, and you cannot replace the (hard wired 18650) batteries. Also, the solar panel has been shrunk to a dismal 1.5" x 2.5", almost half of what the original version was.

i never tried replacing them but you mean you can't solder them? Old type you could just have swap out the 18650's without solder?

If you're cool with soldering wires onto 18650's, then you'll be all right with these.
