I hate to say it, but the Snapdragon processor on the S9 Ultra made it worth it for me at $700. Its better for emulation and for other features.

Is the S11+ going to be a meaningful upgrade from this? I can spend more for a much better product, but if it's incremental enhancements, I might as well buy this one.
Rumors has it that S11+ only upgrade to another Dimensity CPU, 9400+ vs 9300+ in the S10+. Otherwise it's the same.

Just wanted to add... on paper it is not. What a shame.

Is there any reasonable way to type and send emails on this?
Get the 1st party book cover keyboard slim, 50% makes it 80. it's a good keyboard and a good case except for corner protection in a traveling bag.

Or buy a knockoff magic keyboard for 100-120 on Amazon.

Or just get a bluetooth keyboard standalone if that does the job for you.

The shop samsung app discount didn't show for me so I contacted Samsung through chat who redirected me to their phone support. Ended up going through 3 reps to troubleshoot then finally the last one gave me an offer in writing to refund $50 on delivery. Planning on trading in an Amazon Fire 7 tablet. Their chat support said that would qualify. Hoping this all works out because this was such a pain for me.

Comes to $375 with trade in of S9+. Not sure if it is worth the upgrade and hassle.
Nope. Not worth it. Not a life changing upgrade, unless you get the ultra for that price.

Even Samsung won't show the processors anymore.
You have to do your own research in review sites.
One of their marketing images says "Unleash your full potential with a powerful processor" and just shows vague percentages about cpu, gpu & npu.
They just want to talk about AI since it won 't need a lot of processing power.

Hopefully the trade in process goes well they have a high rate of messing that up. ive had them 2 times already charge me fully due to not sending my trade in when in reality I did.

Same. It's a good chance to trade-in my old Tab A7, but actually I don't need Samsung tab right now.
