Powered by a USB-rechargeable 14500 battery, the Pokelit is also compatible with standard AA batteries. Includes two-way pocket clip, lanyard strap, USB cable, user manual, and 2 spare o-rings. Sale price applies only to these three versions, which have 5000k high CRI (color rendering index) and 550 lumens:
  • Alu-orange-5000k
  • Alu-black-5000k
  • Alu-green-5000k
Notes:
  1. I own many Acebeam lights, and have made multiple purchases from their AliExpress store. They are legitimate and have an excellent feedback score.
  2. The link defaults to one of the versions that isn't available, so you just have to manually select one of the versions listed above.

I'll likely grab one of these. It looks very similar to the Thrunite version I got from Amazon a while back. I absolutely love the light and size, I keep it with me all the time. It's one of those "how did I not always carry one with me...." like a pocket knife. I did have trouble after after a short while with my thrunite but they resolved it quickly. Either way i'm a fan of these bright pocket lights, if you're on the fence grab one and keep it clipped inside your pants pocket for a while, you'll love it like I do i'm sure.

Was it the Archer Mini? Thrunite is a good brand as well. These Acebeams are a hit in the enthusiast community. Small form factor, great LED, high CRI, rechargeable, and 10-year warranty. Very pocketable.

My order kept failing on my iPhone, mobile Safari. I ordered on my desktop and went through fine. Mobile kept saying out of stock. But I just ordered 2x orange, 1x green, and 1x black. One to go in my WaveRunner, and 3 for my nieces...hope they like flashlights.

Does this actually come with a 14500 battery? Couldn't tell for sure from the product description unless I missed it.

Yes - it's an Acebeam 14500 with USB port built-in. Also takes AAs though, which is what I'd suggest to anyone planning on storing it in a car.

Why do you recommend the AAs instead of the 14500? I imagine the 14500 has a much larger capacity.

Correct - 14500 batteries (3.7v) will absolutely outperform standard alkaline batteries (1.5v).
But 14500 and other rechargeable lithium batteries shouldn't be stored in areas of extreme temperatures. They degrade faster, and can also cause fires.
The best alternative is a "primary lithium" battery (single use, non-rechargeable). Energizer Ultimate Lithium is the best example (1.8v). They cost a bit more, but will be brighter than alkaline, and maintain their charge for much longer — which is ideal for something like a car's glovebox.

It's the saber, it seems like a very very similar light to these. I ordered an Acebeam last night as well to compare. For the money it's hard not to. Excited to see how it compares (yes i'm a flashlight nerd.) :-)

Same here. I think I'm up to 75-80 lights -- mostly Convoy, Sofirn, Acebeam, Wurkkos, and Cyansky.
Got the new Convoy M21B with LHP73B emitter yesterday. My goodness, it's a toaster.

I am not a huge flashlight nerd with tons of experience or anything, but I bought this the last time it was on slickdeals recently for like $9.60 and it seems to be a really good value. It fits in my slightly larger than average man hands very well, it is light, it feels durable enough. I cannot speak on battery life as it has not been used enough to even drain the battery fully, yet. Kind of just have it for when power goes out / emergencies and ideally I never need to actually use it

When it isn't flaking out (like today), of course!
