Mint is a good carrier. They are using T-Mobile network. Amazing 5G coverage and speed up to 700Mbit. Got deal in December $180/12 months unlimited. Satisfied 100%.

Google Voice is simply a free service where you have your own phone number that you give to everyone. It can run from a phone, tablet and/or computer. You can call and text from that number using only data, and nobody has any idea that it's not your actual phone. The "base number" is your cell phone's actual number that you wouldn't need to use at all, so it wouldn't matter if it changed.

I've done this for years because my employer provides me a cell phone but I wanted to keep my personal number separate. So I ported it to GV and have the best of both worlds using the same phone. If I leave this company, my GV number is unaffected. It also works great when in a foreign country because you only need a WiFi connection to use your GV service as if you were at home.

used similar action last year: transferred number promo 3 months (mint) to tello to promo 12 months (mint). I am planning to repeat it again

mint treats their loyal customer like dog, i was charged 360 plus 21$ recovery for unlimited data while friend was cbarged half price
