such a great value. would jump on this, but terrified to cut a hole in our granite countertop.

For what it's worth, I did it (on a brand new construction home) for this exact unit and it was worth it Smilie

Just carefully watched YouTube videos, got a good diamond hole bit (Milwaukee one), plumbers putty to make a ring, used water, PVC coupling as a drill guide so perfectly straight. Went well and this unit has been great for 2x years now.

This set is a great value, I'm due for filters which is about $160 for the pair (never on sale).

You replace every two years? 160 sounds pricey.

One of the filter you change annually , ( carbon filter ) The Reverse Osmosis filter , you change it every other year . You can see the price on Amazon I also added a mineral water filter
