Amazfit makes fantastic wearables for people who aren't hardcore athletes and just want to track performance improvements/sleep reliably.

I switched back from Samsung to my Amazfit Neo (best battery life and actually small watch-sized), but the Bip line is great for people who want more functionality on-wrist.

At this price I'm tempted to get one as a gift

holy sheet. amazfit at Walmart? I hope Samdung, Crapple, and Garmin are ready to have their wearable sales erode to where they only have the 'fashion over function' demographic of purchasers buying them.

They had them for awhile. I got a couple last May for my kids before summer (taking phys ed in the summer, so they needed step counters and at $29...)
This is a steal at this price. It doesn't have all the features of my Fitbit Versa 4, but for a casual use it's just fine. I've been a Fitbit user since the clip on device, and I'll probably jump to this when my current one dies.

How much of a downgrade is it from the bip 6? I don't have a lot of expectations at $20 but is it decent at tracking steps or resting HR?

My wife has the Bip 5 and I have not noticed any real difference in how these track other than hers has more apps/games and a bigger screen. When we hike our steps are nearly the same.

These things are crazy. Battery life is insane and does pretty much everything you need a smart watch to do. Absolute steal when you compare it to big brand smart watch prices.

Urban edition has problems with starting tracking any activity that involves GPS since it doesn't have a GPS built in. Basically turns into a useless device as their software doesn't work properly with it.

Not that good, even at this price. I bought last year for $25 and it was a flop. Battery life was great, but tracking sleep was horrible and it ended up just being a watch on my arm. I went back to a Fitbit for now.Text messages barely ever came through on it either. Was a smart watch that did nothing smart for me.

I've been an Amazfit fan for 6-7 years. Started with the original Amazfit Bip and am now with the Amazfit GTS 4. Have tried other inexpensive smart watches, but always seem to come back to Amazfit. The 10-14 day battery life is a game changer. It must be so annoying to have to recharge one's watch on a daily basis. And don't forget that it's even possible to change the watch face on a daily basis if you wish (for free in most cases), though I tend to keep the same one as my eyes can't make out the small details of most of the more elaborate watch faces. At this price, try it. You might be surprised to discover that it won't be the last Amazfit watch you purchase.

Is the heart rate monitoring accurate on this watch?
