Just bought and installed it as of June 28. That part of my order was shipped same day and delivered the next day via Amazon fulfillment. This suggests that the item is one of the rare woot! sales which is truly via Amazon rather than a random 3rd party seller via woot!

Though the build has more than a few components, it's not particularly difficult and the pieces are designed in such a way to ensure that you're not mixing up components along the way. The right and left sides, if you will, are distinct.

You have a lot of flexibility in how you position the TV relative to the bottom and top of the stand and I am completely satisfied with the outcome. I would note that the manual doesn't completely delve into how you can customize the vertical positioning of the VESA mounting holes, which I did to achieve a desired amount of clearance between the bottom of my screen and the top of the stand feet.

Good luck!
Jon

What's the benefit of having your soundbar like an inch above the shelf/table?
I don't see the appeal. Cords visible. Possible vibration.
is it just takes because they made the feet not flat enough for a soundbar to sit on it?

Nope. Very stable. Been using a very similar one for 6+ years. 65" TCL Series 6. Wouldn't hesitate to use it with a larger set.

Another benefit seems to be the center weight of the base in that it allows for TVs that typically have their feet towards each end. Some TVs just don't fit on a table or stand because of this problem. Anyone know the weight of the base?

I've had one of these for about 5 years.
I needed to raise my TV about 9 inches. This setup easily did the trick. It's very stable and I could raise it higher if needed.
For $10 it's a steal.

Which VESA pattern? The only limiting factor on supporting the narrowest VESA pattern widths would be the supports for the center channel - don't install them on the feet and you could easily support even a 50 mm VESA pattern. The spacing on the vertical mounting holes are 25mm apart.

Good luck!

Another benefit to this is that its footprint is more narrow than many TVs' little plastic feet, which enables more placement options for a wide TV

Getting one. Was thinking about getting the Panasonic 65'' miniLED earlier, but the stand barely fits my tv stand. This would make my tv options much wider.
