Completed this on PS Plus on PS5. I really enjoyed it. It's definitely focused on a younger audience, but the novelty of the gameplay mechanics kept me interested throughout. The game received too much negative feedback from the sources I listen to. Another quality Devolver title, in my book.

Great game. It does not offer any challenge but gives you the feeling of videogame discover, like you-re 8 years old again and just try new games one after another. Works great on Switch as well.

I'll echo what others said. It's great for younger players, but can be fun for all ages, IMO. Runs a bit better on the Switch 2 as well 60FPS mostly.

The regular price on Steam is $29.99 btw, currently not on sale. Looks like consoles are $10 more.

Nice! This is one of those games that looks and runs so much better on Switch 2. Also, thanks to recent updates, you can turn off the hand holding that the reviews complained about.

Played through a major portion of this game on PS+. It's visually excellent and unique. Quite a novel game and I did enjoy it the hours I put into it. The writing is also good and the humor is very well written.

I did not however finish the game. I was (unfairly) expecting the game to ramp up in difficulty or puzzle complexity, but realized it was unreasonable of me to expect that. The early puzzles were clearly for a very young audience. And if the game had tougher platforming or puzzles later, it wouldn't have served that audience well. Clearly the developers had a target demographic in mind, and the game serves that demographic very well.

And so, eventually I left the game unfinished. If you are looking for a cozy game that is visually appealing and want a palate cleanser between games, this will serve you well.

My only minor gripe is that the game was not advertised as being for that young an audience (I.e. even younger than 10 yr olds). Of course, it's not a major issue since I didn't actually pay any money to buy the game (not counting the PS+ subscription). But thinking back I was looking forward to the game from one of the pre-launch trailers. From those trailers, it came across as a regular casual platformer/puzzler. I think marketing it as a young-kid game or a 'cozy game' for adults would have been a bit more appropriate.
