Maybe yours is defective... We have two of these in our house. Using it since January with no issues. Battery life is great. Highly recommend for $10!

If you go in and select any color but Black and try to use the code, it won't work. Even if you delete a color and add black to your cart and then the code, it still won't work. Clear your cart, close the browser window and click the link again and choose Black and the code then works. So, really, the code only works on the black version.

I bought one but then the plastic when you plug it into the head of this brokr or somehow got stuck in the hole and I was never able to get that piece out so I have to throw it away. Of course it was my fault that I accidentally dropped the thing on the ground that the plastic broke off leaving the end stuck but there was no way of getting it out so this is one issue with this item. The end piece of the floss head got stuck and broke off and I was not able to use it again.
