This is fine, but I have no freaking clue how the yellow "alignment" tool is supposed to be used... it doesnt hook onto the unit, so it's just a loose square? It's very useless. I'd only buy if you are confident in your alignment skills

It does appear to attach to the unit... you just have to remove the Joycons.

I bought this kit. It's decent for the price. The alignment frame is not perfect, but if you are steady and watch how the edges align, it does a decent job. I think I've done equally well just eyeballing it, so not sure how much better it is.

This never occurred to me... I was using the edge of the joycon to line it up, so removing it never crossed my mind, lol.

May have made it easier than, had I figured it out. It's already on the unit now though so, it's as good as it gets.
