Pretty sure this is a common strategy; they'll slightly change a model # precisely so price matching risk is reduced.

Are you guys buying the Geek Squad Protectionfor these models?
I did. Never had a Hisense before and even if I had, it's a crap shoot these days with TVs. My Samsung got purple splotches all over it after two years. My Vizio straight up died after 3. So for me, the peace of mind for the next five years makes the warranty worth it, even if I never have to use it. I seem to have bad luck with this stuff.

Yeah, I did too. They were very thorough. I had already mounted my wall mount, but they went back and made sure it was the height I wanted, etc. They did a great job, indeed.

I am torn. I know the TCL QM6K is more expensive. But, is this TV better? I couldn't find any real reviews anywhere of this television.

Just FYI, the TV size mentioned on mounts literally means nothing, it only comes down to the VESA pattern and weight restrictions.
Also advertised range of motion, as larger TVs may not be able to fully swivel, tilt, or rotate as far.

Additional thing to consider, most of the TVs weight is low, near the mounting point, but weight further away from the mount is heavier to the mount than weight further away, so if the mount can hold 60 lbs and 40" screen it may not hold a 58 lb 90" screen...

I don't think the TCL QM6K is over $700 better than this Hisense. The color on this TV pops, and the black is as good as OLED IMO.

It's only $400 more at Costco, $1799.99, and imo it is worth it for the mini LED alone, plus there are other benefits as well, including quite a few more backlight zones.

The QM7K is only $1999.99 as well, and also worth it.

Got my 98" QM7K installed yesterday. Blown away. Glad I snagged it for $1999. I have a house full of OLEDs and they don't compare to the immersion I get on the QM7K from a 9 ft viewing distance! Movies are a totally different experience!

Picked up the 100" U7 version at my local Costco for $670. They were pushing pretty hard to clear the shelves of these things. I don't even know how I'm going to mount it myself it's pretty heavy but at that price I couldn't say no.

Actually a bigger TV like a 100" is wider than a 75", so the swing angle is just a bit smaller

This USX mount is UL rated. I'm assuming that they tested the rated load with the arms fully extended. If they didn't then they're a bunch of DAs 😂
